more capacityWe develop gas infrastructure

With a Europe-wide market survey, the transmission system operators GASCADE Gastransport GmbH, Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH and ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH  are hoping to determine the need for new transport capacities for H gas at the boundaries of the GASPOOL market area.

The aim is to be able to estimate the future need for new cross-market-area transport capacities as early and as realistically as possible. This is how the three cooperating TSO want to develop the relevant gas pipeline infrastructure accordingly for the benefit of the European domestic market and supply security.

You will find the report of the demand analysis here.

Secure energy supply thanks to new transport routes

The necessity of the network expansion has been confirmed in the auctions for new capacities on the basis of the more capacity market survey. The pipeline EUGAL will be integrated into the German gas network and will be built in the regulated environment under the existing European legal framework. EUGAL is a core element in the expansion of the energy hub at the center of Europe, which ensures that the German and European natural gas network is oriented to demand and more flexible.
